I have been around the church and gospel music industry for over 14 years and I have been seeing choirs and performances, classic or contemporary, but the day I stepped into COZA (Common Wealth of Zion Assembly) Abuja and heard the choir minister, I had to come back the next service day to confirm that this is a normal church choir. It’s simply unusual and different, creativity at its peak, out of the box experience. You can’t just say they are only good in contemporary, or classics or traditional gospel, they are just every where and when they took up? any song to perform, they don’t just meet your expectation, they surpass it. I was particularly taken-aback when I heard the choirs version of Keffe’s “kokoroko”, Frank Edwards’s “You to Dey bless me” and other songs like that, could not help but boogie down.? They give you verbatim what you heard in the CD and even more, I was like waooh!!! the world needs to see this. The guy that plays the Bass Guitar, i think he is the choir director, is really Holy Ghost Crazy. ( No sorry, this is a common way of expression among gospel music people, since after KIRK FRANKLIN used it)
Here at RAINDROPS HOTSPOT, this is what we want to celebrate, creativity in the body of Christ. We don’t only minister to you, you are entertained also.
We celebrate you Here!
